If you sign up to become a member, you will be automatically on the agenda to approve at our next committee meeting, then contacted by PACT to pay a $30 membership fee.
The membership fee goes towards things like:
- paying for software so we can manage our member data, work up budgets, position descriptions, send emails, etc.
- getting site works done that need to happen so we can put on a successful event
- paying for insurance for the year
- paying for essential equipment and signage for a safe event
- keeping our website domain registered
As a member, you’ll gain early notification of Aurora tickets before they are available, access to the Slack where important discussions and updates can happen, and have a say in the Annual General Meeting (AGM).
At the AGM our members can vote on changes to our Organization Rules, vote on committee members or be nominated to join the committee.
