Who is PACT?

Peoples Art Collective Tasmania Inc. (PACT) exists to bring people together to celebrate community and connection through burner culture. Our events are guided by our 11 principles.

In April 2024, we took our first collective step together at Sparkadia. We came together to co-create Tasmania’s first regional burn experience and lay the foundations for a fantastic future together. Sparkadia was not just a gathering; it was a celebration of community, art, and the untamed spark within each of us. Building on these foundations, we held our second event, Aurora in 2025.

Our event in 2026 will be even better, and we need your help to make that happen. Whether you want to contribute to creating a sound stage, showcase your art, curate an interactive experience, cut some hair, give a foot rub, or simply make new friends and learn, all are welcome to collaborate in creating magic and fostering connection and community.

Our mission is to unite communities through inclusive gatherings centered around arts, workshops, skill sharing, and interactive events. Guided by radical inclusion, we welcome all individuals that align with our values to collaborate in building community, safer spaces, connection, a sense of belonging, and a collective responsibility for one another and the land we gather and live on.

We envision a world where every individual has access to arts education and opportunities, enabling them to unleash their full creative potential, contribute positively to society, and thrive within a connected and supportive community.

We are guided by The 11 Principles and a set of core values that shape our culture, decisions, and relationships. These values help us foster a thriving, inclusive, and creative community that promotes collective well-being, while deterring ego-driven behaviours.
